NDI Outlet Multi Performance Testing

 

This page contains unofficial testing results for NDI Outlet Multi. They will provide guidance on what to expect from different systems but they form no guarantee of performance. You will need to do your own performance testing to determine appropriate loads for different hardware.

2 x 2.66 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon. 32GB Ram, macOS 10.13.3

Test 1

BlackMagic Design Duo 2 Card (4ch), with driver v10.9.10

NDI Outlet Multi : 1080i50 NDI Signal Generator Fast Cycle Pattern as Source (with audio)

Result: 4 Channels of NDI to SDI works comfortably  (could do more needs testing with 8 ch card)

Test 2

BlackMagic Design Quad 2 Card (8ch), with driver v10.9.10

NDI Outlet Multi : 1080i50 NDI Signal Generator Fast Cycle Pattern as Source (with audio)

Result: TBC

2.7 GHz Quad Core Intel Core i7. 16GB Ram, macOS 10.13.3

Sonnet Echo Express SE1, TB3 Chassis

Result: 4 Channels of NDI to SDI works comfortably.

Result: 3 Channels of NDI to SDI works comfortably. Could do 4 with care, and gentle video source.
